To undertake a literature review to determine the feasibility of using biological control in a natural forest ecosystem.
Outcomes
There is very little literature on effective biological control that have been successfully operationalised on a forest landscape scale. An understanding of the potential non-target impacts on the soil-biota in a kauri forest ecosystem is required before biological control agents for soil-borne tree diseases in native kauri forests are adopted.
